An induction billet heating system is an industrial electromagnetic heating line used to heat steel, aluminum, copper, brass, titanium and alloy billets before forging, extrusion, rolling or forming. It normally includes an induction power supply, water-cooled heating coil, billet feeder, temperature measuring system, PLC control, cooling water system and safety interlocks.
