The dress can be cut on the bias for a more fluid, body skimming drape. Or or cut on the straight grain to make this simple-to-sew basic your next wardrobe staple. The neckline and armholes are finished with facings. VERSION A is an above-the-knee length mini dress. VERSION B is a midi length dress that stops at the mid-calf. Recommended fabrics: Woven (non-stretch) light or medium weight fabrics, such as rayon, linen, silk, or satin.
