Homemade Bao Buns | 25th June 6.30pm | 2.5 hours | Islington
In this class, you will learn how to make soft, pillowy bao buns from scratch, using bamboo steamers. You’ll fill them with aromatic Kung Pao chicken or tofu, then serve them with smashed cucumber salad and a zingy, crunchy vegetable pickle. This is a class full of contrast and texture: warm steamed buns, a richly savoury filling, cool cucumber, and sharp pickle alongside. You’ll leave with a set of dishes that feel generous, balanced and very satisfying to cook.
