4-Week Stained Glass Course Create something beautiful, one piece at a time… Following the success of our much-loved Clay Club, we’re so excited to introduce our brand new 4-week Stained Glass Course - a calm, creative escape designed to help you slow down, learn something new, and leave with a piece you’ll treasure forever. Whether you’re completely new or looking to build confidence, this course gives you the time and space to really immerse yourself in the art of stained glass. Over four relaxed and inspiring sessions, you’ll learn the essential techniques of glass cutting, foiling, and soldering - while designing and creating your very own stained glass suncatcher. What to expect… Week 1 – Design & Foundations Ease into the process as you practise glass cutting and begin planning your design. Create your own or choose from a selection of beautiful templates. Jennifer will guide you through the do’s and don’ts of stained glass design to set you up for success. (Designs should be no larger than A4 size.) Week 2 – Cutting, Grinding & Foiling Time to bring your design to life! You’ll start cutting your glass pieces, refining them, and learning the foiling technique. Week 3 – Building Your Piece Continue working on your project at your own pace, with guidance and support throughout. Week 4 – Soldering & Finishing Touches The magic moment. Learn how to solder your piece together and clean it to a beautiful finish - ready to take home and display. Health and safety. All participants must be 16 years and over. For safety precautions of working with glass, it is advised to wear trousers or long skirts and closed shoes. NO FLIP FLOPS or sandals.
