They have 10 acres overlooking the River Crouch and work sustainably, encouraging biodiversity in the vineyard. This is a region that is becoming recognised as a place to make stunning wines and, having tasted a sample of their Pinot Noir Rose, we were suitably impressed. Fresh and crisp with notes of wild strawberries, cranberries, peach and citrus, it is well balanced and moreish with good acidity, a pleasing mineral edge and good length, and we'll be enjoying plenty of this when the sun decides to shine. A project to watch with interest.
