You are required to have a permit if the skip is to be sited on the road, we will need to apply for the permit that is associated with your area. We WILL NOT allow any skip to be dropped on the road without a permit. It will be your responsibility to inform Hamilton Waste when you need to renew the permit (this is a minimum of 3 days’ notice). If your permit runs out and you haven’t informed us to renew the permit you can be charged by the Council for having a skip without an up to date permit. Also if the permit has expired and you need it renewed, it will be back dated from whence the permit expired. If you are unsure of when your permit runs out please call our office and we will answer any questions you may have.
