Clairet de Bordeaux, Château Grand Tuillac
Clairet de Bordeaux, Château Grand Tuillac, France About the Wine Fresh, vibrant and wonderfully sociable, this Bordeaux Clairet sits beautifully between a rosé and a light red wine. Bursting with lively flavours of raspberry, redcurrant and other tart red berries, it is crisp, juicy and refreshing with a soft, rounded texture. Bright and easy-drinking, it is a perfect aperitif wine and an excellent companion to cheeses, charcuterie, summer lunches and relaxed gatherings with friends. About the Producer Château Grand Tuillac is a family-run Bordeaux estate overseen by Sophie Poitevin and Laurent Poitevin, who took over the domaine in 1992 shortly after their marriage. The property had been passed down through Sophie’s family, along with generations of winemaking knowledge and experience. Over the past three decades, Sophie and Laurent have continued to refine both the vineyard and cellar work, combining respect for Bordeaux tradition with a focus on approachable, expressive wines. Their wines reflect the generous, convivial spirit that has long made Bordeaux one of the world’s great wine regions.
