Sparkle (Version for Quartet)

Sparkle is an engaging showpiece that delights in quick character shifts and liquid register changes, and allows the flutist and marimba players to display lyricism and technique across a variety of moods. The triangle part acts as coloration for longer notes, or provides occasional emphasis in a phrase, against the major flute and marimba parts. This version for flute, triangle, and two marimbas was expanded from the original for flute solo and optional triangle.
