Large Gaan the Snake Design Wangim / Boomerang. Hand Crafted in Australia by Ngarga Warendj from Australian Swamp Oak Measures 600-700 mm Gaan the Snake is a very clever hunter and only ever takes what he needs. Warmer weather sees snakes out and about looking for food and shelter & its mating time. Snakes can move more quickly in the warmer months, and in our country mostly hiberate in the cooler months - but can be seen out if there is a warm day. All artefacts come with an information card. The card has information about the artist, artefact and design. All our wangim are made from timber collected from tree roots or branches that have a natural bend. All designs are based on traditional symbols from South East Australia
