Annabelinda 1970s vintage velvet & cotton pinafore midi dress / RARE & Collectable

Stunning 1970s velvet pinafore by Annabelinda of Oxford! Another amazing example of the stunning work that came out of the Oxford studio back in the day... Here we have another rare and collectable example of her work in a rich deep blue cotton velvet dress which features a front and back bib, two wide cotton panels at the hem and of course the trademark covered buttons at either side. The cotton bib and panels are of a abstract Aztec 60s inspired print and colours include deep red, lilac, lavender, white, turquoise and steel. Blue velvet piping finishes off the dress design. Striking indeed! Upper body is taffeta lined. This is amongst the more stunning pieces I have come across and in fabulous condition to boot! I don't think she was worn much, if at all. .................................................................................................
