¡Forward, Russia! - Give Me A Wall

¡Forward Russia! formed in Leeds in 2004, bringing together Whiskas, Tom Woodhead, Katie Nicholls and Rob Canning from earlier, short-lived projects. Their debut album, Give Me a Wall, arrived in 2006 and quickly earned a reputation for its tightly wound, rhythm-driven take on post-punk. This reissue revisits that breakthrough in full, capturing the band’s sharp interplay, jagged guitars and propulsive energy. The release also includes a new lyric sheet and fresh sleeve notes from Steve Lamacq, offering added context to a record that helped define a moment in the mid-2000s UK underground.
