Portola Classic Taper | 13oz Natural Rinsed Denim

Based on one of the first fabrics Freenote ever used, Freenote's co-founder Matt visited Kuroki Mills in Japan to recreate a custom version of this denim. After a yearlong development, they are proud to present a 100% natural indigo warp yarn dyed denim made exclusively for Freenote Cloth. They chose a tinted weft for a darker hue and left the fabric unsinged for a slightly “hairy” texture reminiscent of deadstock vintage denim. After cutting and sewing, each pair is rinsed for an easy wearing and comfortable pant from day one. The 7 x 7 yarn size gives this 13 Ounce denim a substantial feel, despite its relatively light weight.
