We started with proven slalom rocker numbers, then added subtle breaking points to reduce wetted surface area while unlocking explosive pop and effortless ollies. The nose shifts to a more pointed outline, while the tail deck keeps rounded curves for control. Underneath, sharp disconnect angles and a V-bottom maximize rail-to-rail engagement with power and speed. The bottom shape is our flattest and fastest yet — a self-trimming design that stays quick and composed whether you’re ducking the sail or switching stance. Volume flow has been completely reimagined: flat for switch-stance stability, with a touch more dome under the back foot for control and softer landings. We’ve pushed the forward double concave for added grip and stability, thinned the tail for comfort and precision, and fine-tuned the outline and bottom for speed and seamless rail-to-rail transitions before the big move — with no excess nose width to catch, keeping all the drive and power where you need it. Switch stance, back-winded tricks, high-speed transitions — the new Air stays balanced, trimmed, and flying over chop or flat water. No hesitation. No loss of control. Just pure connection. Sustainability: All Goya boards ship in recycled cardboard and paper tape—no plastic bags. Please recycle your packaging. Rider Insights. By Nicolas Hibdige, Antoine Albert, Nico Akgazciyan. Nico Hibdidge: “We wanted something better than our customs—powerful and compact for ultimate control in the air and on landings, balancing speed, comfort in chop, and explosive pop when needed. Inspired by the rails and volume flow of our Custom Quads and latest Nitro 2, the Air 7 fits into the smallest ramps, allowing more vertical takeoffs in less space. The strap spread is slightly narrower, and the back is for better connection and pop. The mast track is moved back to balance the new, more compact shapes. Larger sizes are tuned for lighter winds and calmer waters, with more planing and acceleration. Smaller sizes focus on control in choppy conditions with smaller sails. Development took three years, from harbor to open ocean, with countless trials. The final range feels right across all conditions and will appeal to more than just freestyle riders.” Antoine Albert: “The new deck is more comfortable, letting me ride longer and land with more confidence. The faster I go, the easier the moves feel. My Air 86 is the best freestyle board I’ve ever had—playful, wave-board-comfy in chop, super-fast on flat water, with insane pop for doubles and precise fin placement for max grip.” Nico Akgazciyan: “The new boards are very easy to handle, with noticeably better comfort underfoot. Overall, the sensations are very good and very positive. Adaptation is instant, precisely what I’m looking for in a Freestyle board.” Shape. Shaper Insights. By Keith Teboul, Adam Lewis, Francisco Goya. Slalom rocker and bottom shape. Flattest and fastest yet. Longer flat so the board self-trims and is fast regardless of sail ducking or switching stance. We started with a slalom-inspired rocker, tuned for more speed than ever, then stretched the flat section for explosive early planing and instant lift and acceleration into your first move. Cleaner more ergonomic volume flow, flatter where you need it, slightly more dome at the back foot for control. Volume flow has been completely reimagined — flat underfoot for stability and lightning response, a touch more dome further back for comfort and control, and vee and concave shifted forward for effortless handling in every transition. Double concave increased forward for control, thinner tail for more control landing moves. The outline is all new. Efficient but controlled, no wide nose where you don’t need it more pulled in at the tip less to catch in big air moves adjusted tail for speed. There’s nothing where you don’t need it — a more pulled-in nose keeps control in chop and stays clear when you go big, giving you freedom in the air and confidence on landing. Going switch, ducking for back-winded tricks — the Air stays balanced, trimmed, and ready to accelerate. No hesitation. No loss of control. Just pure connection. The result? The fastest, most controllable Air we’ve ever made. Built to keep up with the wildest ideas you can throw at it.
