Bowness Private Studio Slow down, get your hands muddy, and create a one-of-a-kind hand carved ceramic mug in this beginner-friendly workshop led by ceramic artist Melba Seto. In this relaxed and supportive class, you’ll learn hand carving techniques to design and create your own functional pottery mug—no wheel or prior experience required. Mugs are pre thrown and guests will choose their unglaze contrast colour and carve this own unique designed in the leather hard clay. Pieces will then be glazed and fired by Melba in her studio and ready for pick up 4-6 weeks after the event. All materials, tools, and firings are included. Finished mugs will be glazed and fired after the workshop and ready for pickup at a later date.
