This is a 3cl Taster Pouch, allowing you to sample this delicious whisky before committing to a full bottle. Add to your order - makes a great stocking filler. Elegant, fruity and creamy. Think Panna cotta and crème brûlée, toasted banana bread and crisp red apples, and candied pecans with a hint of lemon zest to finish - this whisky will make you smile! A beautifully harmonious and well integrated malt with a creamy richness; alpine strawberries on the nose and a brazil nut softness that is quite beguiling. A dash of water opens up more soft red fruits with a very pleasant (and for me, nostalgic 80s) bubble gum finish. A small proportion of the distillery’s whisky is matured in casks other than ex-bourbon or STR (Shaved, Toasted, Re-charred) such as this one which is matured in New American Oak. This cask type is usually reserved for the maturation of Bourbon (which, by law, must be matured in new American white oak casks), so it’s rare to find the Cotswolds Whisky solely matured in it.
