Contracor DBE DryBlast Compressed Air Aftercooler, Electric
During blasting work, compressed air from a mobile or stationary compressor often contains a high level of heat and water vapour. If this air enters the blasting system without aftercooling, moisture can condense and cause the abrasive to clump. This can lead to inconsistent blasting performance, increased wear, longer downtime and additional maintenance. The DBE DryBlast is designed for installation between the compressor and the blasting equipment. The compressed air first passes through a heat exchanger, where it is cooled by an electrically driven fan. The cooled air then flows through a cyclone separator, where condensed moisture is removed from the air stream. The drier compressed air then continues to the blasting system. Key benefits Electrically driven Helps remove condensate and oil from the compressed air stream Reduces abrasive clumping Helps reduce the risk of blockages in metering valves, hoses and blast nozzles Cools compressed air to approximately 3 °C to 10 °C above ambient temperature Equipped with an efficient cyclone separator Mobile design with transport wheels and handle Suitable for use between compressor and blasting system Technical data Model Capacity Connection Voltage Power DBE-3 3 m³/min G1" 230 V / 50 Hz 0.06 kW DBE-7 7 m³/min G1½" 380–410 V / 50 Hz 0.3 kW DBE-12 12 m³/min G2" 380–410 V / 50 Hz 0.7 kW DBE-16 16 m³/min G2" 380–410 V / 50 Hz 0.7 kW DBE-21 21 m³/min G2" 380–410 V / 50 Hz 0.9 kW DBE-25 25 m³/min G2" 380–410 V / 50 Hz 0.9 kW
