Rosehip
:: Rosehip :: Hand-Poured Watercolor Pan A richly muted red inspired by dried rosehips gathered at the close of the season—earthy, weathered, and quietly luminous. Rosehip unfolds in warm, velvety layers, balancing softness with depth, its tone reminiscent of autumn preserves, worn botanical pages, and sun-dried fruit hung to cure. Hand-poured in small batches, each half pan reflects attentive craftsmanship, flowing smoothly across the page while retaining subtle texture and character within the wash. The pigment displays delicate granulation and a responsive body, suited to transparent layering as well as deeper, more atmospheric passages. Materials and Making Artist-grade mineral pigments combined with a carefully prepared natural binder. Each pan is hand-poured in small batches to retain the subtleties of pigment behavior and studio technique. Compatible with standard watercolor palettes. This listing is for one hand-poured pan, choose from either a full or half pan from the drop down menu. Larger or curated sets are available separately. Context Every pan supports Wildthorne’s Watercolors for Wildlife initiative, contributing to the care of solitary bee habitats in the Pacific Northwest.
