Ichigo Kurosaki’s final battle continues! Undaunted, the Thirteen Court Guard Squads reclaim their stolen Bankai to strike back and defeat several of the Stern Ritter’s most powerful members, the Wörtlich. As the battle wages on, Renji Abarai, Rukia Kuchiki, and finally Ichigo Kurosaki each complete their training at the Royal Palace and return to the Seireitei to help the Soul Reapers with their newly acquired powers and abilities. However, Ichigo’s attempt to stop Yhwach is thwarted by Uryu Ishida. A shocked Ichigo demands Uryu to explain his true intention for pointing his weapon toward his friends. But the only answer he gets from Uryu is a rain of arrows to signal the end of their friendship. With Uryu and the Royal Guards at his side, Yhwach successfully breaks past the Soul Shield Membrane barrier and finally sets foot into the sacred realm of the Royal Palace. But the Quincies’ advance seemingly ends after facing Squad Zero, who use their awesome powers to defeat Yhwach and the rest of the uninvited guests.
