This clearance listing is for a single variant only – 90mm diameter, supplied exclusively as a pack of 21 collars, making it ideal for contractors working on larger installations or multi-plot projects. Each collar consists of a stainless steel casing containing a graphite-based intumescent material. In the event of a fire, the insert expands rapidly as the plastic pipe softens, forming a dense carbonised seal that prevents the spread of fire and smoke through the penetration. Tested to BS EN 1366-3:2009 and classified to EN 13501-2, this 90mm variant provides up to 4 hours fire resistance, depending on the application. With Type X durability, the collar is suitable for both internal and external environments, including areas exposed to weathering, and is designed to last for the life of the building.
