With a cocoa content of 70% it's well within the boundaries of the darkest chocolates but it boasts a delightfully smooth taste distinctively lacking the typical acidity and bitterness found in dark chocolate. In its place, you'll encounter a rich cocoa aroma complemented by a subtle mocha flavor, with intriguing notes of lemon zest, sweet strawberry jam, creamy peanut, and earthy walnut. All of this comes together with a luxuriously smooth melt, courtesy of the pure cocoa butter it contains. One - 60 gram bar We are particularly proud of this chocolate because all our cacao is produced on our 16-acre organic farm in Northern Guatemala. We avoid the use of all pesticides and inorganic fertilizers. We practice living soil techniques and microorizal-rich cultivation to produce the most flavorful fruits possible. Our cacao is harvested with care, the fermenting process is done by our world-class and highly renowned partners at the Lacuha fermenting facility which has won over 29 awards as of 2019. We then grind only the most perfect cacao beans and make our chocolate. The result is one of the purest and best dark chocolates you'll ever taste.
