Sea buckthorn contains over 190 identified bioactive compounds, including one of the highest natural concentrations of Vitamin C available in any plant oil, alongside Vitamins E and K, carotenoids, flavonoids, and the rare complete omega profile of 3, 6, 7, and 9. Its omega-7 (palmitoleic acid) is naturally found in human skin and directly supports softness and elasticity. Applied in a balm base, these compounds absorb more deeply and effectively than in a soap rinse, delivering their collagen-supporting and brightening properties where they can do sustained work. Australian emu oil carries the formula deeper into the skin than most plant oils can reach, amplifying the sea buckthorn's effect while contributing its own omega-3, -6, and -9 barrier-repair properties.
