Its soft, lightweight cotton in the most enchanting blue is scattered with bold pink carnations and trailing yellow wildflowers. A vivid fuchsia trim outlines the round neckline and runs the full length of the hem, binding the composition with energetic precision and creating an overall harmony. At the waist, hand embroideries create wave rows of violet and rose, with hand-embroidered pink and purple buds and leaves placed at each crest. The back is as beautiful as the front : the distinctive Amy-style diagonal closure fastens with self-covered fuchsia buttons along a fuchsia-piped seam, the full gathered skirt falling away with effortless, breezy movement.
