Electric Frankenstein with ADZ - At Coney Island High (New York City) Artist: Coop Year: 1998 Print: 23" x 35" Frame: 28" x 40" Condition: Very Good The piece is featured in the Art of Modern Rock book on page 172.4. OK, so this is Coop’s classic EF poster at Coney Island High, a long lost beloved venue that was dead center on St. Marks Place in the Lower East Side, a place where I saw many legendary punk acts and was a frequent watering hole for Joey and Johnny Ramone. The frame is a stock utilitarian frame that’s kept the poster well preserved, but during the moving you can see that the print has slid, and that there’s another print behind it, which is one of Coop’s Coopstuff.com posters. Same size, same condition, the EF poster is from 1998, the Coopstuff from 99. Listings on these two have the first as high as $650 and the second at $99, but let’s be real, $450 for both with the frame.
