THE DIAGONALS, POINTS, AND DIAMONDS OF TWILL WEAVES
Twills are diverse and so versatile, they can form the basis of hundreds of different designs. Twill is the second most common weave structure after plain weave and developing an understanding of the basic types of twills is essential for all weavers. In class, as you learn the building blocks of twill, you may design and weave a small project or a sampler of multiple twill variations (a great reference for future projects). This is a good class to take after Beginning Weaving or as a refresher. Pre-requisite - have set up a loom at least once. Supplies: Scissors, tape measure, calculator, note taking supplies, tapestry needle, graph paper. Materials Fee will be determined by your chosen project.
