'LC' Chestnut Sofa, Armchair and Side table

French "Le Corbusier" chestnut Provence arm chair, two seater sofa and side table or stool. A classic chair in French country homes that originated in the late 19th century and was a favourite among modernist architects such as Le Corbusier, Alvar Aalto and Charles Eames, thus commonly referred to as the 'LC' chair. The frame is made from bent pine tree (pinje) and woven chestnut shavings, creating a light yet durable structure. A relaxed yet elegant set for a veranda, breakfast nook or entrance. Can be used outdoors but preferably under a roof to protect from wet conditions. Pairs very well with the 'Berg' table by Carl Malmsten (not included in this set). Only one available of each.
