Our brand new 1% Methylene Blue coupled with our professional grade 25% Vitamin C + Ferulic Acid Serum is a powerhouse of Antioxidant and Anti-aging ingredients, all backed by scientific studies that show this combination of ingredients provides incredibly effective synergistic effects on the skin. Methylene Blue for Anti-Aging & Skin Health: Methylene blue (MB) stimulates skin fibroblast proliferation, increases skin hydration, and boosts elastin and collagen production. It has shown potential in treating inflammation related to eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and acne. Anti-Aging and Collagen Boosting: Methylene blue stimulates fibroblast proliferation, which can double elastin and collagen production in just two weeks, significantly reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It reduces dark spots and hyperpigmentation, improves skin texture, and diminishes fine lines and wrinkles for a more youthful, radiant complexion (Harvard Health) This specific combination of Vitamin C + 1% Methylene Blue creates a special form of Methylene Blue called Luko Methylene Blue Leuco-Methylene Blue (LMB): Combining methylene blue with Vitamin C creates leuco-methylene blue. This reduced form is often colorless, making it more practical for topical cosmetic application. While this is usually a colorless or light blue/green translucent srum, there is the potential for the Methylene Blue to still be strong enough to temporarily stain your hands/nails on some individuals. Our recomendation is to dispence into the Palm of their hand, apply a thin layer to skin and immediately wash your hands to prevent any blue from staining your skin. This does not reflect an issue with the product, it remains safe and exactly as effective as described, but please be aware of the possibility so you can make an informed purchase. Methylene Blue is a dark blue dye as well as being a potent and effective antiaging active ingredient. this color should not be visible on your face after applied and allowed to sink in. This serum can be used both morning and Evening after cleansing. Please make sure to use a small amount a massage into skin evenly as Methylene Blue is also used as a brilliant blue coloring agent, though at the highest effective dose used in our formulation no staining will occur, just be sure to promptly wipe up any spills! This is a 2 fl oz bottle with a pump dispenser to prevent oxidation by exposure to air and with twice daily use is a full Months supply of serum. Do not use in conjunction with high concentrations of AHA/BHA Acids or Retinol as these will negatively affect the Vitamin C in this formulation. As with all skincare products, a test patch is recommended to determine any sensitivity, though Methylene Blue is not an irritating ingredient, 25% Vitamin C is the highest professional strength and can be irritating for sensitive skin types. The use of a sunscreen above 30 SPF is required to see and obtain maximum results with any skin care regimen. We recommend the use of Mineral based Sunscreens to reduce the chances of irritation.
