Secure Storage for Rigging, Chains, Strops & Slings etc. MC&P’s heavy-duty and lockable storage cage is manufactured in-house using extra-tough 50mm x 50mm box section frame cladded with strong mesh steel to securely store and transport valuable lifting gear and accessories. 4 rows of 6 heavy duty internal hooks are included allowing for safely storing and lifting rigging, slings, straps, slings and general lifting gear etc. Our heavy duty lockable storage cage incorporates fully-welded box and mesh construction so no assembly is required. MC&P’s Crane Lift Cage is LOLER-tested to be safely lifted or lowered by crane, forklift, telehandler or HIAB. Lifting by Crane with MC&P: Each MC&P crane lift cage is fitted with 4 lifting eyes (or lifting lugs) to allow for the safe lifting or lowering of baskets by crane, forklift, telehandler or HIAB. Each lifting eye is manufactured using 5mm plate steel and incorporates a 30mm diameter fixing hole. Following manufacture of our crane lifting cages, each cage is thoroughly examined by our team which is qualified to undertake the Thorough Examination of Lifting Equipment Accessories. Copies of our training certificates can be issued on request. Following thorough examination of lifting cages, our certified team will then issue you with a “Report of a Thorough Examination and Test of Lifting Equipment” certificate. This examination certificate is issued in accordance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) Schedule 1.7 and The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 Regulation 6.
