Broflame Ultra Base Coat - White is a high-performance, water-based intumescent coating designed to provide fire protection to interior timber surfaces. When used as part of a complete system with Flameguard™ Ultra Topcoats, this coating helps achieve a Class B-s1, d0 fire rating, significantly reducing flame spread and heat release in the event of a fire. Ideal for use in communal and high-traffic environments such as schools, hospitals and public buildings, Broflame Ultra allows you to combine fire protection with a decorative finish, giving you both compliance and appearance in one system. Ensure surface preparation has been completed correctly. Apply by brush, roller (laid off) or airless spray. Apply two full coats, ensuring correct coverage rates are achieved. Allow a minimum of 4 hours between coats. After final coat, allow 24 hours before applying Flameguard Ultra Topcoat. Do not thin the product. Maintain application conditions between 5°C and 30°C, with humidity below 75%.
