A first of many! We are super excited to announce our first ever live blockprinting workshop right here in Mumbai. At House of Ekam, our journey has always been rooted in handcrafted textiles, working closely with artisans across India to keep traditional techniques like block printing alive. We’re excited to invite you to an intimate block printing workshop, a hands-on experience designed to bring you closer to the craft in a slow, meaningful way. Here are the details: Date:12th April, 2026 (Sunday) Time: 11 AM – 2 PM Location: Bandra West (Exact location to be disclosed later) Format: Hands-on block printing experience Limited seats to keep it intimate This is a beginner friendly 3 hour workshop where you'll be learning basics of blockprinting. What will you be learning? Basics of hand block printing How to prepare printing colors Create and print your own design Introduction to traditional craft techniques What's included? All block printing materials (blocks, colors, fabrics) Light refreshments 1 tote bag / stole to print & take home Connect with fellow craft lovers Who's it for? In case a participant is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, the booking can be transferred to a friend or family member for the same batch. In case of a last minute cancellation or no-show, the participant will not be accommodated in future batches or be provided any material from the workshop.
