Guru Rinpoche Statue Gold Plated 4"

A lovely gold plated statue of Guru Rinpoche measuring 4 inches tall. Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, helped to establish the Dharma in Tibet in the eighth century by constructing Samye Monastary, the first Buddhist monastary in Tibet. He is often called the Buddha of our times, or the Second Buddha. These Statues have been gilded through a process of electric gold plating, which deposits a thin layer of gold upon the exterior with an electro-chemical process. The end result is absolutely stunning. This statue can be opened for filling and consecration. Statue height is 4" tall (to the top of the khatvanga) or 3.65" (to top of hat feather)
