Avoid harsh direct sun, especially afternoon sun, and keep away from heaters and cold draughts. Temperature Prefers warm conditions and steady indoor temperatures. Aim for 18–30°C, and protect from cold stress below around 15°C. Water Keep the potting mix lightly and evenly moist, but never soggy. Water when the top layer just starts to dry, and reduce frequency in cooler months. Higher humidity will help keep the foliage looking its best. Fertiliser Feed during the warmer growing season with a diluted indoor plant fertiliser every 4–6 weeks. Hold back in winter when growth slows. Repotting Repot only when the plant is well established and becoming root-bound, usually in spring or during active growth. Use a loose, well-draining indoor plant mix.
