Vintage Whiting & Co. Marked Sterling Silver & Wheel Cut Glass 4.5" Wine or Champagne Coaster Pair

Elegant vintage Whiting & Co. hallmarked sterling silver & wheel cut glass PAIR of 4 3/8" diameter champagne or wine bottle coasters, beaded borders, sun or starburst cut pattern and both in wonderful condition! Most like the marks of Frank M. Whiting rather than the older and more revered Whiting Manufacturing Company (late 19th to early 20th centuries and rivaled names like Gorham, Tiffany & Co. and Reed & Barton). A beautiful pair, both in great shape, visually impressive and sure to be a magnificent finishing detail to your opulent table service! Very good to excellent condition. Some slight tarnish visible and one had a nearly unnoticeable 'push' to the sterling edge. Slight age scuffing to the glass but no chips, no cracks. See images for all measurements.
