Set your iron to the cotton setting. A steamer is not needed. 2. Place the adhesive side on the fabric you wish to attach it to. 3. To prevent the beads and rhinestones from melting from the iron's heat, place a cloth (a slightly thicker cloth or towel is fine) over the trim. 4. Press the iron straight down for 10-15 seconds. Apply the iron to the desired length in the same manner. 5. Once applied to the front, turn it over and iron from the back, moving left to right. As a precaution, it is safer to place a cloth over fabric and rhinestones before ironing to prevent them from melting. 6. Leave it to cool down until the heat subsides, then use it. This will ensure a stronger adhesion.
