The Pegasus Saddle Fitter High Withers Pad with Sheepskin offers cushioning and heat and moisture control. This pad is specifically designed for horses with the highest withers. Slightly smaller than the normal square pad- A bit bigger than most half pads. This will work to replace either- no so big it can't go over another pad. No so small it needs another under it. In addition to the extra height, the two rings on the front can be attached to breastplate straps to keep the pad in position. Make sure to hook to the lower rings to keep the pad up for the maximum withers clearance. use the upper rings for just a small amount of clearance. Two reinforced rings on the front of the pad makes it easy to attach to a breast collar so the pad remains in place even going up the steepest hill's. Four pockets on each side of the pad allow for a custom fit using the included thick and thin memory foam shims. These inserts mold to the horse’s shape with every use.
