How to Use Allow the test cassette and urine specimen to reach room temperature (15–30°C). Remove the cassette from the sealed pouch and place on a clean, level surface. Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 3 full drops of urine (approx. 120 µL) to the specimen well (S). Start the timer. Avoid trapping air bubbles in the specimen well. Read results at 5 minutes. Do not interpret results after 10 minutes. How to Interpret Results Negative: Two lines appear — one in the Control region (C) and one in the Test region (T). Even a faint test line is a negative result. Cotinine is below 500 ng/mL. Positive: One line appears in the Control region (C) only. No line in the Test region (T). Cotinine exceeds 500 ng/mL. Invalid: No Control line appears. Retest with a new cassette. Important: All results are preliminary.
