Place The Killerman’s Run range of wines are masterfully composed blends selected from across the finest vineyards and sub regions in the Clare Valley. Vintage Conditions Following a mild winter temperatures, the vines emerged from their dormancy earlier than usual. This coupled with enduring mild weather during the growing season resulted in slower ripening and elongated time on the vine. These idea conditions allowed the fruit to ripen evenly and slowly giving natural acid retention while developing varietal character and flavour ripeness at lower sugar levels. It also allowed individual parcels to be selected at the most opportune time as the seasonal rush to harvest was alleviated. Winemaking Our Killerman’s Run Cabernet Sauvignon has been crafted through traditional winemaking techniques accumulating with twelve months maturation in new and seasoned French oak hogsheads.
