HLTINF005 Maintain Infection Prevention For Skin Penetration Treatments

HLTINF005 Maintain Infection Prevention for Skin Penetration Treatments is a nationally recognised unit of competency designed for aesthetic professionals performing skin penetration procedures, including dermal and cosmetic injectable treatments. The unit provides essential knowledge and practical skills relating to infection prevention, infection control procedures, and compliance with relevant state and territory hygiene regulations within a cosmetic medical setting. Successful completion of this unit satisfies the infection control training requirements for higher-risk personal appearance services under the Queensland Public Health Act 2005. This course is delivered and assessed by the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science (AACDS) a Registered Training Organisation (RTO ID 51373). Students who enrol in this course will be enrolled as AACDS students and will receive all training, assessment, student support, and certification services directly from AACDS. Graduates will receive a Statement of Attainment for the Unit of Competency HLTINF005 Maintain Infection Prevention for Skin Penetration Treatments, issued by AACDS.
