Felted Christmas Tree Decoration - Lough Melvin Studios

Dry needle felting is the extremely delicate process of fusing coloured fibres of carded wool together using tiny pointed barbed needles. This craft has been passed down to me from generations of my family and it is an honour to carry on the tradition - although in days gone by it was used to mend and not for pleasure! I love using the colours and textures of the wool fibres to capture the beauty of landscapes and coastlines of Ireland. Each piece is hand made, so there will always be slight variations from the photo.
