Malachite Jones is still keeping up his double life as a pretend psychic and unwilling detective aided by his best friend, Jackie. The last thing he wants is a missing person case, let alone two. Except these aren’t random disappearances. For Mal and Jackie, they’re personal. Missing person one: Daniel Jerrings, whose family is owed a favour by the gangsters of the housing estate Mal lives in. The catch? The gang wants Mal to pay the favour. Missing person two: Spider, a character from Jackie’s past. And though Jackie doesn’t really do friends (other than Mal), he does do loyalty, and that means Mal does too. Once again, Mal and Jackie aren’t the only ones on the case. Plenty of others are looking for the missing people, and with violence lurking around every corner, things soon get out of control…
