Finca Potosí - CGLE17 Natural - Cafe Granja La Esperanza (Colombia)

Produced by Cafe Granja La Esperanza at Finca Potosí in the Valle de Cauca region of Colombia. This limited lot is the CGLE-17 varietal, a hybrid of Geisha and Caturra, built to be more disease resistant, adaptable to dry seasons, and increased yield. The coffee maintains those floral characteristics of the Geisha, with the sweetness and increased body of the Caturra. This lot was processed as a Natural, a cup with high sweetness reminding us of red berries and fruits, like strawberry jam, raspberries, cherries, ripe red grapes, and also tropical fruit notes like mango and apricot.
