Les Céramiques de Lussan is a family workshop established since 1968 first in Blauzac, then in Lussan (in the Gard, Provence), founded by Heidi Caillard, graduate of Fine Arts and ceramics in Lausanne . Specializing in animal ceramics, the workshop has made its stylized poultry — mainly guinea fowl — an iconic handcrafted bestseller, shaped in local clay, glazed and fired at 980°C, each piece being unique thanks to the hand decoration . Passed on to his son Adrien in the 90s, the know-how has been structured to allow for expanded artisanal production, while retaining the rigor of manual gestures: the pieces are now visible in the workshop-boutique in Lussan and in Uzès, and exported all over the world .
