Teak Sewing Stools - Jeanneret
A set of four teak “Sewing” stools, model PJ-SI-68-A, attributed to Pierre Jeanneret and produced for the Chandigarh administrative furniture program. Each stool is constructed with a shallow saddle-form seat, broad slab sides and a transverse lower stretcher. The front rails retain painted institutional stencils reading approximately “P.S.A. W.A. W.C.”, together with individual inventory numbers. These markings are associated with the Punjab Secretariat administrative furniture inventory.
