Universal Table

Our Universal Table is a reproduction of Thomas Jefferson’s original table at Monticello, handcrafted in solid mahogany and oak. Designed for versatility, it can be used as a desk, sofa table, breakfast table, or dressing table. Two draw leaves extend the table to 53" wide, while a deep center drawer with a mortise lock provides convenient storage. The Universal Table is part of a special collaboration between Owen Suter’s and Monticello, combining our six generations of Virginia cabinetmaking with the history and design of Monticello.
