Piggyback PWM Controller That Adds Auxiliary Pumps to Your OEM Fuel System Control Module The Aeromotive VaporWorx 66188 Ally Auto-On Pulse Width Modulation Controller Kit lets a positive trigger OEM Fuel System Control Module, such as GM or MOPAR, keep running the primary fuel pump while the Ally piggybacks in to power one or two additional aftermarket pumps. Rather than replacing the factory FSCM, the 66188 taps its pump signal wire and adds boost referenced PWM control for the auxiliary pump or pumps, so the OEM module never has to carry more current than it was designed for. Auto-On activation means the controller powers itself from the engine run signal with no extra toggle switch or relay needed. A stand-alone or engine mounted MAP sensor tells the controller when to bring the extra pumps online, typically in the 3 to 9 psi range depending on sensor type, so full OEM priming, CAN feedback, and diagnostics stay intact. Key Features Piggyback design works alongside a positive trigger OEM FSCM instead of replacing it Auto-On activation draws from the engine run signal with no separate trigger wire Adds boost referenced PWM control for one or two auxiliary aftermarket pumps Keeps OEM ECU priming, CAN feedback, and safety diagnostics fully functional 10V to 22V operating range with a 50A minimum continuous power rating Progressive pump ramping and soft start reduce pressure spikes when auxiliary pumps engage Short circuit protection and automatic reset over temperature shutdown Designed and built by Aeromotive in partnership with VaporWorx Specifications Detail Value MPN 66188 UPC N/A, verify with supplier Brand Aeromotive / VaporWorx Product Line VaporWorx Ally Auto On PWM Controller Controller Type Piggyback add on for OEM FSCM, not standalone Pump Configuration Adds 1 to 2 auxiliary pumps to primary OEM pump Compatible OEM Systems Positive trigger FSCM, GM, MOPAR and similar Forced Induction Supercharged Activation Auto On, engine run signal Input Signal MAP sensor, boost referenced Operating Voltage 10V to 22V Continuous Power Rating 50A minimum MAP Sensor Included Country of Origin USA What's Included 1x Aeromotive VaporWorx 66188 Ally Auto On PWM controller unit MAP sensor Wiring harness with OEM style connectors Mounting hardware Installation documentation Frequently Asked Questions Does the Aeromotive 66188 replace my OEM fuel system control module? No. The 66188 is a piggyback controller, not a replacement. Your OEM Fuel System Control Module, whether GM, MOPAR, or another positive trigger system, continues to run the primary fuel pump exactly as it did from the factory. The Ally 66188 taps into that system and adds boost referenced control for one or two additional aftermarket pumps, so the stock module never has to supply more current than it was engineered for. What does Auto-On mean on the Aeromotive VaporWorx 66188? Auto-On means the controller powers itself and activates the auxiliary pump circuit automatically using the engine's run signal, with no separate trigger wire, toggle switch, or relay required. This keeps wiring simple and removes the risk of the extra pumps failing to activate due to a missing or misconfigured manual trigger. How many auxiliary pumps can the 66188 control, and when do they turn on? The 66188 supports one or two auxiliary aftermarket pumps in addition to the primary pump already controlled by your OEM FSCM. Using the included or engine mounted MAP sensor, the auxiliary pumps typically engage in the 3 to 9 psi boost range depending on sensor type and vehicle platform, keeping the added fuel flow available only when the engine actually needs it. Installation Notes Confirm your vehicle uses a positive trigger OEM Fuel System Control Module (GM, MOPAR, or similar) before installing the Ally 66188. Identify the FSCM's primary pump power wire, since the Ally taps this signal rather than replacing the module. Mount the controller away from direct heat sources, exhaust components, and fuel vapor accumulation areas. Install the MAP sensor, either engine mounted or stand-alone, at a location that accurately reflects boost per the included instructions. Wire the auxiliary pump positive and negative leads to the controller, keeping FSCM ground wiring separate as instructed. Connect power, ground, and the Auto-On signal wire per the included wiring diagram. Verify fuel pressure and auxiliary pump activation at idle and under boost before sustained full load operation.
