BORCARITE

This very small miniature specimen features two excellent, large, off-matrix, pale turquoise-blue, bladed monoclinic Borcarite crystals from the recent finds in a polymetallic skarn deposit at Charcas at San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Not only is their colour very rich and vibrant, but at 1.8 cm in length these are significant crystals for this unusual borate species. The quality of these crystals and their aesthetics is really good for what is an extremely rare species.
