Her mother, grandmother and great grandmother were all sewers. Maku took sewing lessons herself in high school and has been drawing fashion drawings since she can remember. She never thought it was a realistic job to try and attain so never put much effort in so to have ended up here now for her feels surreal as her shirts have become such a massive hit in the fashion industry in the past year. Water colours are her medium of choice and most designs on her shirts are prints of her original art piece painted in watercolours.
