Ester & Young Henrys 10 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt 700ml One of a hyper-limited, rare trio of Australian whiskies released in May 2026 as a special collaboration with fellow Sydney Inner West icon, Young Henry's Brewery. The liquid originally started life at Young Henrys back in 2012 before the barrels were left to mature for nearly a decade. Felix Clark of Ester Spirits then stepped in to handle the final production stages, blending, and market release, making this the award-winning distillery's first-ever foray into the world of whisky. This cask strength 'full proof' from the absolute best two port wine barrels of the single malt batch, left uncut at cask strength to showcase raw Australian character. Golden apples, Bakewell tart and soft nougat tumble into raspberries, cream and violet, all wrapped in a dark caramel sauce. Wine gums, cherry syrup and candied citrus join the party, while a twist of orange zest and gentle baking spice keeps the palate lively. Long, layered, expressive, it's a proper dram. Syrupy, chewy, exuberant – finishing dry with oak, citrus zest and lingering spice. Playful yet precise, decadent yet serious, complex yet cheeky – it's full of Australian swagger. Tasting notes: wine gums, candied citrus, raspberries and cream, violet, caramelised edges, chocolate-covered nougat, dark cherries in syrup, with a twist of orange zest and soft allspice on the finish. 700ml / 55% abv
