A wonderful bargain, this is a savoury, super classic tasting Tuscan blend. It's 100% organic and estate grown Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a touch of Merlot. Again, the fruit comes mainly from cooler spots on the Estate, and the winemaking is built around keeping the wine bright, fresh and digestible. The grapes also get a week or so of cold soak, giving the wine some fine, powdery structure. The result is some superb Tuscan value, with sweet black cherry fruit, iodine and violet scented fruit, all held together by fine tannins and vibrant freshness.
