General: FMS (Foundation Music Systems) was founded by Alex Gibson, who worked closely with Bill Low, the founder of AudioQuest. Gibson was responsible for some of AudioQuest’s earliest and most successful breakthrough products. The FMS Blue-6N XLR cables are exceptionally well-made interconnects. Key features include a thick, durable jacket, premium-feeling terminations, and full Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) wiring. 1m in length. Proudly made in the USA, these cables have been tested and are working perfectly. SkyFi Cosmetic Notes: Minimal signs of wear on the jacket. Overall good condition. Included: Just the cables Dimensions: 1m Testing Process: Cables are generally pretty simple and do not require a great deal of testing. We do however perform a visual inspection of all of the connectors for damage or significant wear. Most power and interconnect cables can be verified with a simple continuity test with a digital multimeter. Some cables feature dielectric bias systems which are powered by external power supplies or batteries. These devices are checked for proper function where applicable. We do not perform A/B comparisons of cables in real world conditions, and cannot offer objective observations in this regard.
