Pressure regulator for Disposable N2O & CO2 Cylinders
Upgrade your beverage and culinary prep with the Pressure Regulator Adapter (PRA). Designed for use with disposable N2O or CO2 gas cylinders, this adapter allows you to quickly and accurately charge stainless steel cream whippers and soda syphons. By upgrading to cylinder gas, you are choosing a highly cost-effective and time-efficient alternative to traditional single-use cartridges. A single cylinder yields the equivalent gas of approximately 80 standard chargers, saving your staff the time and physical effort of screwing on dozens of individual cartridges during a busy shift. Specifications & Compatibility Device Compatibility: Use with stainless steel whippers or soda syphons only. Fits all standard brands (exception: not compatible with Kisag brand). Cylinder Compatibility: Designed exclusively for disposable cylinders with an M10x1RH thread. Included in the Box: PRA unit, 77cm (30 inches) of 8mm polyurethane (PU) hose, brass whipper adapter nut with 8mm push-fit connector, and a spare set of O-rings. Component Guide Familiarize yourself with the PRA before your first use: Knurled Knob: Located at the top centre. Turn clockwise to open the gas valve; turn counter-clockwise to close it. Gas Inlet: Located at the bottom. This screws the PRA onto your disposable cylinder. Gas Outlet & Adapter: Located in the middle. Features a black 8mm push-fit hose adapter. Right Pressure Gauge: Measures the remaining pressure inside your N2O/CO2 cylinder. Left Pressure Gauge: Measures the pressure inside your whipper/syphon. The green “target” zone ends at 100 PSI (approx. 7 kg/cm³ or 7 bar), which is the ideal fill pressure. How to Use the PRA Turn the knurled knob counter-clockwise to ensure the PRA valve is fully closed. Screw the PRA securely onto your M10 threaded N2O or CO2 cylinder. Fill your stainless steel cream whipper or soda syphon with your ingredients and seal it. Screw the included brass adapter nut onto the charger pin of your whipper or syphon. Push the 8mm hose firmly into the black push-fit adapter on the PRA, and insert the other end into the adapter on your whipper/syphon. Tug gently on both ends of the hose to ensure a secure fit. If the hose slips out, push it back in more forcefully. Slowly open the PRA valve by turning the knob clockwise. Watch the left-hand gauge closely. Once the gauge reaches exactly 100 PSI, close the valve immediately. Your device is now perfectly charged. To remove the hose from the PRA, push the black adapter collar inward (toward the PRA body) while pulling the tubing out. Unscrew the adapter from your whipper/syphon. To save time during your next use, you can leave the hose attached to the brass adapter. Clean your equipment as needed and store all parts, instructions, and spare O-rings in a safe place.
